Parent Communication - Arbor Parent App information

Over the next term, we will be moving all our communication and payment processes over to one unified system known as Arbor.

Arbor’s Parent App and Parent Portal will simplify how we share information with you, as well as enabling you to manage your child's school dinners, clubs, trips, payments, and breakfast and after school wraparound care in a more straightforward manner. Class Dojo will not be affected, but School Gateway/Parent Pay will no longer be in operation from 27th March.

In preparation for the change to Arbor, it is vital school has the correct email address for any parent/primary guardian who will need access to the Arbor Parent App.

On Thursday 13th February 2025, a test email was sent to all parents/primary guardians registered on Arbor. If you did not receive this email, but believe you should have as you are the parent/primary guardian of one or more children at our school, please email arbor@alkrington.rochdale.sch.uk with the following details, ensuring you send the email from the address you want to register for the Arbor App:

• Your name
• Name of the child/children you are the parent or primary guardian of
• Your relationship to them e.g. father

If you did receive the test email, there is nothing you need to do at present. Once parents' emails have been updated, we will provide further information on how to access the Arbor Parent App.
