Lead Teachers: Mrs D Watson & Mrs L Harris

I enjoy leading Design and Technology as it is a wonderfully practical subject that allows pupils to use their creativity and imagination. The D&T curriculum at Alkrington gives our children the opportunity to use many of the skills they have acquired in other subjects, and helps them to build practical expertise which they can begin to use in their everyday lives. I have studied both food and textiles technology and always enjoyed turning ideas into finished projects. Outside of work, I love cooking from scratch and getting creative using sustainable everyday materials with my children. (Mrs L Harris)
